It is unknown at this time if there is any truth to the rumor that Oakland's Andy Hassler has asked his team for a trade. Insiders indicate the starting pitcher may not be happy with the club management. So far, the team's owners have refused to comment.

When Dennis Eckersley takes the hill, he's a good bet to nail down the victory for the Oakland Hells Angels. At least that's the way it was in May.
He excelled with a 5-1 mark and 1.94 ERA in 6 starts. In 51 innings, he fanned 41 and walked 11.
That's why he was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the West Side Conference.
Thus far this season Eckersley has posted a 14-7 record, started 26 games, struck out 150 batters in 207 innings and compiled a 2.70 ERA.

Dennis Eckersley of the Oakland Hells Angels blanked Long Beach 7-0 on 4 hits. He rang up 10 strikeouts, keeping batters off balance all day long.
Checking out his stats for the season, Eckersley has racked up 14 wins and 7 losses in 26 starts, 2.70 ERA and struck out 150 batters in 207 innings.
